Ok, so today was day 1 of my work outs. The picture is one of me today before I went to the gym.
Even just going to my complexes gym seemed to be a hassle at first. I mean all I have to do is walk over there and I was starting to come up with excuses as to why I should maybe start tomorrow. I didn't listen and just kept walking and got into the gym...YAY, first step done. Now to warm up. The warm up was good but I started to think of the new movies I just got for Christmas that I could be watching. (Now the big issue with this is that I have all of this week off of work for vacation, so there really is not excuse for me to being trying to get out of working out today.) Ok, so starting today with the P90X video Chest and Back. In this workout I go from a style of push up to pull up. Each part is 4 sets, 2 styles of push ups and 2 styles of pull ups. Then the last 2 back work outs are with dumbells. There are like 4 parts and then once you have completed that you do it all over again. After this has been completed I get to do 15 minutes of ab work outs. During this workout, I could see where my chest was starting to swell and look bigger. That made me very happy to see that as it made me think I have a lot of potential in obtaining my goals.
So, day one was down for the count. HOORAY! I then, at a suggestion from a dear friend of mine, started a profile on bodybuilding.com. Hopefully, all this well help keep me motivated.
